A few that not many people seems to mention are:

Randy Crawford's 'Look Who's Lonely Now' from the 'WINDSONG' cd(classic half-time shuffle, never heard a single drummer play this as good as Jeff, especially at that tempo [img]eek.gif[/img] ).
Then, a TOTO track called 'You Are The Flower' , 16th note killer groove.
Last but not least, Bruce Springsteen's 'Human Touch' , talk about dynamics, he just explodes in certain sections, then comes right back to a soft verse......tasty.

That's just scratching the surface.

Well I posted this one a while back and Fuse agreed, and it's Toto's Out Of Love from Past to Present... He's friggin' ghostin' on da hi-hat!!!

He played killer stuff on that Dire Straits disc.

ANd I have YET to be able to get through Night Time at the Switching Yard on Excitable Boy without a flub. What a sick sick groove.

WHile we're at sick grooves, anything on Katy Lied, esp. Doctor Wu. I love that tune.

Jeff has been one of my favourites for years now. I can't get enough of his playing. For those who don't already know, the Toto Live in Paris video has been re-released on DVD as "Toto - Greatest Hits Live...and more". From what I understand this is only available in PAL format at the moment (I may be wrong) so you'll need a region-free player to watch it...the concert though....oh man, Jeff is a GENIUS...

My all-time favourite song is "Africa"....the drums were looped but the groove is still there, and the harmonies on that track are incredible.

The DVD is indeed in PAL. The plus side if you can play it is there is a kewl interview with Jeff, Luke, Joseph and Mike as bonus material and some in the studio of the band making Tambu with Simon.
The new DVD coming in September will have bonus material as well.

There's a great record from the Love and Money called Strange Kind Of Love. Jeff is really burning on the title track and the rest of this cd. It has also an incredible and a little unusual sound. I'm thrilled and moved everytime I listen to it.
Not to mention his instructional video when he explain the half-time shuffle groove showing the difference between Bernard Purdie and John Bonham versions. Just close your eyes and you'll hear both of them...........

CBrady, I havent heard that album in about 10 years.
Yes, that album was excellent, and had some other amazing players on it as well.
